Volunteer

We are looking for:

BEFORE THE EVENT:

• Collect candy donations and Drop off at City Hall

• Build stackable benches

•  Donations of plastic bins – large and extra large; preferably clear

THE DAY OF THE EVENT:

• SET UP:

  • 10 X 10 pop-up canopies

  • Castle

  • Tables and benches

  • Benches - in photo area, as seating for the band

  • Games

  • Forbidden Forest

  • Blow ups in little park area

  • Hang signs

  • Put up lights

  • Put up floating candles

  • Mark vendor locations

  • Table, chairs and decor for south entrance

  • Gopher (go for this, go for that …)

  • Set up the stage for the band at the Fire Department
     

• DURING THE EVENT:

  • Candy runner

  • Game host ( 3 of these, at least)

  • South End greeter

  • Platform 9 ¾ greeter & wand giver-outer

  • Platform 9 ¾ curtain puller

  • Forbidden Forest greeter/monitor

  • Face painters

  • Gopher

  • Make announcements advertising the sponsors of the event.

    • This can be done live, or pre-recorded then played during breaks.

• AFTER THE EVENT (Time TBD)

  • Break down and pack up the 10 x 10 pop-ups

  • Break down and pack up the castle

  • Return the tables and benches

  • Put straw in Beth’s yard

  • Pack up and take games to The Senior Center

  • Pack up and return Forbidden Forest to upstairs in The Senior Center

  • Return face painter tables and chairs?

  • Return table, chairs, and decor from south entrance

  • Take down Platform 9 ¾ curtains, fold and box up - return to The Senior Center

  • Take down signs

  • Collect orange cones from vendor locations​
